Purchasing Event Tickets

We have 6 Tables Remaining!

RESERVE YOUR TICKET(S) TODAY!!
There are 3 ways that you can plan to attend the Dinner & Auction. Please see below for those details, as well as directions for submitting payment for ticket(s).

In order to encourage the sponsoring of entire tables, the cost of an individual ticket is $40 while the cost of a ticket at a sponsored table is $30. Tables will seat 8 people.

Sponsor a Table: $30 per ticket ($240 per table)
Purchase an entire tables' worth of tickets and commit to filling the other 7 seats by inviting your non-camp friends to attend the event with you.
Co-Sponsor a Table: $30 per ticket ($240 per table)
Partner with another couple or individual to co-sponsor a table and commit to filling your portion of the table. Please find a co-sponsor prior to purchasing your tickets so that we can reserve full tables.
Purchase a Ticket: $40 per ticket
Attend the event and participate in the Silent & Live Auction.

STEP 1: Reserve Your Ticket(s)

STEP 2: Pay for Your Ticket(s)
- Payment is due by Saturday, April 12th.
- Payment should be made out to: UP Bible Camp, and you must reference "Auction" in the memo of your payment.
- Payment should be mailed to: UPBC, 48095 Powell Rd., Plymouth, MI 48170
- Please note: the purchase of tickets for the Auction & Dinner is NOT a tax deductible gift since a service is being rendered in exchange for the monies being given.
STEP 3: (Table Sponsors Only) Submit Your Guest's Names
- Please submit your Guest's Names (for Invitation Packet and Table Seating purposes) by Saturday, April 12th.
STEP 4: Invitation Packet
- Invitation Packets will arrive by Saturday, April 19th and will include formal Invitations.
- Table Sponsors will receive an Invitation Packet for their entire table. These invitations are intended to be a confirmation piece for those guests that have already committed to attending this event.

what you will experience
The evening will begin with the Silent Auction, during which time you will enjoy a "small-plate" style dinner. Some dinner items will be served on a buffet while others will be passed by the waitstaff, offering you the flexibility to both participate in the Auction and also enjoy a delightful dinner. After the conclusion of the Silent Auction, you will enjoy a sit-down dessert with the rest of your table. The evening will conclude with a short program and the Live Auction.

what the goal is
The goal of this auction is to be able to raise MORE than the value of the items. We will be encouraging our guests to bid above the value of the item, to make the most of each dollar donated. Remember, each donation above value can be claimed as a tax deduction, so please plan to bid often and bid generously!

what this event will benefit
The proceeds of this event will benefit the building of a year-round Retreat Center at Upper Peninsula Bible Camp. UP Bible Camp is located in Little Lake, Michigan and like most camps operates primarily during the summer months. The year-round Retreat Center will allow UP Bible Camp to meet the needs of the community by offering facilities to schools, churches, and other organizations.

Donated Auction Item Details

Auction items donated by both individuals and business will be critical to the success of the UPBC Auction fundraiser! We appreciate your interest in participating and look forward to hearing about the items that you wish to donate.

Each donated item should be accompanied by an Auction Donation Form. CLICK HERE to download a copy of this form.

In addition to providing documentation for each donation, this Form will help the Planning Team to understand the retail value of each item so that we can set the minimum bidding prices accordingly. If you wish to receive a receipt from UPBC for these tax-deductible donations, you must complete and submit an Auction Donation Form for each item being donated. Items received without a Form will not be issued a receipt. Receipts will be mailed after the event on May 10th.

As a formality, our Auction Planning Team is reviewing each donated item (from both individuals and businesses) to insure that all of our items are consistent in their quality and condition. We fully expect that your items will be a great asset to the Auction, but think it's important that we practice due diligence and consider each item carefully as donations are being gathered.

Key Event Details

The goal of this evening is NOT to be a camp-sponsored social event, but RATHER a fundraising event that utilizes the relationships of the greater camp family in order to raise money for the Retreat Center. We hope to fill many of the guest seats with people who have both the heart and the means to financially contribute to a ministry they might not currently be aware of.

We’ve come up with some very practical areas that would benefit from your involvement, and ask that you please take a few minutes to review the below information for specific ways that you can help to make the UPBC Retreat Center Auction & Dinner a huge success!

(1) ATTEND THE EVENT at the Prince Conference Center

We have chosen a location and menu that will create an exceptional experience for each of our guests and we’d like our Auction Items to reflect that same excellence. Possible examples of Goods or Services:

Goods: Framed Original Photography, Jewelry, Children’s Product from a Local Publisher (DVDs, Books, CDs), Gift Cards, Spa Products (Lotions, Candles, Make-Up), Specialty Foods (Dips, Sauces), etc.

Services: Spa Experiences (Manicure, Haircut, Massage), Professional Services (Lawn Care, Photography, Home Cleaning, Catering, Carpet Care), Use of a Condo / Vacation Home, Fishing Trip, etc.

(3) VOLUNTEER FOR THE EVENT

We are looking for a limited number of volunteers that would be willing to serve on the evening of the event. We are asking that all volunteers help cover the cost of the event by purchasing their ticket to attend, but then volunteer their time and energies instead of (or in addition to) participating in the Silent and Live Auction.
